Vintage Levi's Relaxed Daisy Cut – Reworked Denim Shorts

Think of it as the leggier sister to our Classic Cut. The same reworked vintage Levi's denim and the same flattering mid-rise, just with a shorter, more relaxed fit through the leg. Effortless California energy, made for warm days, festivals and boots.

It is cut and reworked from authentic vintage Levi's denim, fully deconstructed and rebuilt to consistent, professionally graded measurements across every size.

We have upgraded our sizing. The Relaxed Daisy Cut now follows modern Levi's sizing, patterned and graded by a professional pattern maker for a true-to-fit experience, so your regular Levi's size gets you close. We still suggest measuring against the size guide to be sure, because Levi's fit varies from style to style.

Each pair is sourced from original vintage Levi's garments, including 501s, 505s, original denim pants and original denim shorts. Every piece is carefully pulled apart, re-cut to our updated relaxed pattern, and re-stitched into a shorter, leggy silhouette designed to hold its shape and wear beautifully over time.

All of our denim is sourced from original Levi's produced before 2000, back when it was heavier and made from pure cotton with no stretch in it.

All styles feature a zip fly, not a button fly, and are made from rigid, non-stretch vintage denim.

The fit

A flattering mid rise that sits comfortably on the waist, with a shorter, more relaxed leg made for summer.

We brought in a professional pattern maker and re graded every cut to modern Levi's sizing, so our shorts are consistent pair to pair. The variable is where you are starting from. Levi's fit changes style to style, so a 28 in a 501 is not the same as a 28 in a 505.

The surest way is to measure. Take a pair of shorts you already love, lay them flat, measure straight across the waist and match it to the size guide.

If you want a deliberately roomier or more relaxed look, go up a size.

Because the denim is genuine vintage, each pair shows natural variation in wash, shade and original Levi's details. The colour and previous garment may vary, but the fit, rise, leg shape and construction stay consistent across every pair. The structure is consistent, the soul is one-of-a-kind.

At checkout you can request a shade preference, light, medium or dark, in your cart notes. We will do our best to match it, though as each pair is one-of-a-kind vintage we cannot always guarantee an exact shade.

Care

Rigid, non-stretch denim. It will feel firm on the first wear and soften to your body over time while holding its structure.
